| In 1990, Bill and Fran Cecil acquired a five-acre
estate on the shores of Lake Michigan, halfway between Sturgeon Bay and
Gills Rock on Wisconsin's Door County Peninsula. Located on secluded
Chapel Lane, a pleasant walk from the Village of Baileys Harbor, the
property has 300 feet of rugged Lake Michigan shoreline, reminiscent of
the Atlantic coast of New England. Towering cedar trees border the
property to the north and south, while a pristine woods separates the
property from Maxwellton Braes golf course to the west. |

There are two very different, "smoke-free"
vacation rental homes on the property: the Log Home and the Stone Cottage.

Reservations, Deposits, and Cancellations:
To
reserve a property, a personal check or money order equal to 50% of the
applicable rent must be received within 10 days of making the
reservation. A rental agreement, confirming the reservation, will be
sent upon receipt of the rent deposit stating the rental terms, rent
balance, tax and refundable securitty deposit. The balance and security
deposit are due at check-in.
A refundable security deposit of $300 (plus a $100
pet-security deposit if applicable) is held against any loss, damage or
excessive cleaning of the property. Security deposits will be refunded
within 30 days of departure.
Cancellation of a confirmed reservation will result
in forfeiture of the deposit unless the property is rerented for the
same dates. The deposit, less a $100 cancellation fee, will be refunded
if the property is rerented.
Please Note:
Rental is by the week
from mid-June, July, and August. Three night minimum all other times.
The Log Home has a three-night minimum year-round. All linens, towels
and bedding are provided. Smoking is not permitted in any of the
properties. Well-behaved pets are welcome. Rates are effective May 1,
2008, and subject to combined Wisconsin/Door County taxes. Rates are
subject to change.

The
property is located within walking distance of the golf course and
Lawrence University's Bjorklunden Norwegian chapel. Kangaroo Lake with
a public beach and boat launch ramp is less than a five-minute drive to
the west. The Ridges Sanctuary and Baileys Harbor Yacht Club are only a
few minutes farther to the north. Fish Creek, Sister Bay and Egg Harbor
are a 10 to 15 minute drive from Baileys Harbor.
